Church House Investments has hired Johnny Fleming as client director, as part of its continued plans for expansion.

Fleming (pictured), who will begin his new role on 20 July, previously spent 21 years at Brewin Dolphin. During the last and-a-half years of his tenure he was divisional director, based in Edinburgh.

In his new role, Fleming will join the firm’s growing team overseeing Scotland and the borders region. He is Church House’s second regional hire this year, with Marcus Brooks joining the company in April as regional director in the North and Scotland.

To facilitate Church House’s larger team in Scotland, the company will be opening an office in Kelso.

Fleming said: “I am immensely excited to be joining Church House at a pivotal time in its long history.

“After a long and happy spell at RBC Brewin Dolphin, I jumped at the opportunity to join a private and independent firm of the calibre of CH, with whom I share a similar ethos.

“I am excited to help bolster their presence in the Borders which is a region which deserves a more personal approach than many of the larger firms are able to offer.”

“Our aim is to be the benchmark for success amongst independently-owned investment specialists.

“We hope to attract further talented investment professionals like Johnny and I look forward to seeing more people of his calibre joining in the near future.”
