Neil Woodford’s platform, W4.0, will officially launch on Friday (6 June).
The W4.0 product will be a subscription-based service, offering subscribers access to investment strategies and ideas created by Woodford, which individuals can then tailor and use on an existing platform, SIPP, ISA or brokerage account.

A year ago, the former ‘star’ fund manager launched a weekly economics newsletter after a period out of the spotlight following the demise of the Woodford Equity Income fund.
Last year, the FCA announced it would take action against Woodford and his firm Woodford Investment Management for their role in the closure of the fund, which led investors to suffer losses and remain trapped in the fund. The outcome of the investigation is yet to be publicly announced.
