Kael O’Sullivan will join Tufton Investment Management – the maritime, energy and natural resources firm – as the new head of investor relations, effective 1 September.
In the new role, O’Sullivan will support the team’s strategies, including its flagship Tufton Assets Limited trust, which invests in bulkers and product tankers. He will also be responsible for supporting the CQS Natural Resources Growth and Income trust, which the Tufton team will start managing from 14 September 2026.
Nicolas Tirogalas, Tufton’s CEO, said: “With deep experience across investor relations and both maritime and natural resources, he joins us as we take on management of CQS Natural Resources and will help us engage effectively with institutional, wealth, and retail investors in the UK and globally.”
O’Sullivan joins from LSE shipping company Taylor Maritime Limited, where he served as head of investor relations. Before that, he was director of investor relations at Mining Indaba, a capital markets platform for African mining stocks.
In total, he has over 15 years of experience in investor relations and capital markets, particularly in shipping, mining and energy sectors.
