Schroders has added two new active equity ETFs to its existing range: a European equity ETF and a Japanese equity ETF.
The Schroders Europe Equity Active UCITS ETF and the Schroders Japanese Equity Active UCITS ETF will both aim to identify companies with attractive value and quality characteristics in their respective markets.
The strategies share a consistent investment philosophy with the firm’s existing range, as well as with the Schroder QEP Global Core strategy, all managed by the Schroder Quantitative team.
Tom Stephens, head of ETFs at Schroders, said: “These ETFs will provide clients with greater choice in how they access Schroders’ active investment expertise by broadening our highly diversified regional equity offering.
“They also offer solutions with limited index relative risk, alongside the potential for incremental alpha generation across market environments.”
Schroder’s two new ETFs will list on Xetra Deutsche Börse today, followed by listings in the UK, Italy and Switzerland.
