Keyridge Asset Management has launched the Keyridge Systematic Core Global Equity fund, an Irish UCITS fund which seeks to provide a total return through capital and income to UK investors

The fund seeks to bridge the gap between active funds and trackers by systematically applying active insights while controlling deviations from the benchmark.

Using the team’s in-house systematic process, the fund analyses more than 1,800 companies, assessing them by factors such as value, growth, quality and momentum, with factor weights adjusted as levels of differentiation change.

Alan Duffy, head of strategic investment at Keyridge, said: “This fund combines the most advantageous aspects of passive and traditional active strategies.

“Rather than relying on a small number of big investment calls, we make many smaller, repeatable decisions across the investment universe, seeking incremental returns while controlling the unintended risks that can make traditional active performance less predictable.”

Most investments in the fund are expected to be in developed market equities, with emerging markets not expected to go above 10% of net asset value.

Rob Williams, chief commercial officer at the firm, added: “Designed as a core global equity allocation, the fund offers a style-neutral strategy that complements portfolios with geographic, thematic or stylistic tilts.

“Keyridge has managed systematic strategies for clients for nearly three decades, so we’re pleased to make this long-established investment approach available to UK investors through a UCITS fund structure.”
