Exchange traded fund (ETF) provider Global X ETFs has launched the Global X NYSE 100 UCITS ETF (NYSX) to provide investors with exposure to 100 US tech and technology-enabled growth companies.

The NYSE 100 UCITS index draws from a broad universe of eligible US businesses across structural trends such as cloud computing, data analytics and fintech. The underlying index is administered by ICE Data Indices (ICE).

Gea Blumberg, head of business development at Global X ETFs Europe, said: “Innovation is no longer confined to a single sector.

“Partnering with a world-leading index provider such as ICE Data Indices reflects our commitment to delivering innovative investment solutions to European investors.”

Through this partnership and access to this bespoke index, the new ETF should allow investors to access some of the most innovative companies in the US equity market, “wherever they are listed and however they are classified”, Blumberg said.
