Asset manager Fidelity International has named Chris Robinson (pictured) as its newest investment director for the firm’s multi-asset and MPS range.

In his new role, Robinson will be responsible for the UK wholesale market at Fidelity, working across the team’s multi-asset, model portfolios, retail funds and customised solutions, collaborating with the portfolio management and distribution team.

Robinson has over a decade of experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, he served as the MPS investment director at Premier Miton Investors for almost two years.

Before that, he spent seven years at Tatton Investment Management as head of the investment specialist team. He has also served as an analyst at firms such as Duncan Lawrie Private Banking and American Express.

Commenting on the appointment, Robinson said: “The evolution of the MPS market continues at pace, and I’m excited to get to work with my new colleagues, supporting Fidelity’s WealthBuilder MPS and multi-asset offering.”

Dennis Pellerito, head of wholesale at Fidelity International, added: “Chris’s knowledge of the UK IFA market, extensive experience across multi-asset strategies and MPS, and strong client focus make him a valuable addition to the team.

“Alongside Graham Folley, head of MPS & intermediary solutions sales, and the multi-asset investment team, Chris will play a pivotal role in ensuring we provide the right solutions for advisers and their end clients.”
