Katie Machin, who joined the firm in the first week of February, is the latest in a series of appointments over the past few months.
She brings more than 11 years’ industry experience, arriving from an eight-year stint as a financial adviser with NFU Mutual.
The recruitment of Machin signals Walker Crips’ intent to widen both its Yorkshire and national footprint as it seeks to capitalise on RDR-induced changes to the pensions landscape.
David Hetherton, Walker Crips Wealth Management CEO, said: “Katie trained with us over 11 years ago and we now welcome her back at an opportune time of significant expansion for us fuelled further by the upcoming new pensions freedoms.”
