Vanguard has announced it is reducing fees on the $75.7bn Vanguard FTSE All World UCITS ETF, effective 28 July.
The ongoing charge fee (OCF) on the fund will be slashed to 0.14% from the current 0.19%, which Vanguard expects to save investors around $37m annually.
At the time of writing, it is the second largest fund in the IA Global sector and has attracted $16m in net flows so far this year, according to Vanguard data.
The fund has outperformed the average sector peer in the IA Global sector over the past one, three, five and 10 years. Over three and 10-year periods, it is a top-quartile fund in the sector, according to data from FE fundinfo.
Jon Cleborne, head of Europe at Vanguard, said: “This fee reduction reflects Vanguard’s longstanding commitment to using the benefits of our scale to lower costs and improve outcomes for investors.”
Following the latest changes, the average asset-weighted expense ratio across the Vanguard European equity and fixed income ETF range is now 0.11%.
