Bhandari took up the role on 18 August, reporting to head of multi-asset allocation Toby Nangle.
This is the second recent appointment to the multi-asset team following Craig Nowrie’s appointment as client portfolio manager.
She joins from Citigroup, where she was a director of global macro strategy and asset allocation. She has also previously held a similar role at Lombard Street.

“With approximately 40% of Threadneedle’s assets in some form of asset allocation mandate, we have an established and successful offering in this space,” Nangle added.
