The fund is listed on the Deutsche Borse and invests in short maturity European government bonds.
It tracks the Barclays Capital 1-3 Year Euro Treasury Bond Index, which consists of approximately 75 fixed-rate, investment-grade bonds of countries in the eurozone.
Like all SPDR ETFs it is physically replicated and will take the full complement of SPDR ETFs listed on European exchanges to 30.
