The transfer, which was completed on 28 November 2014, topped up RLAM’s existing commercial real estate AUM worth £3.4bn to more than £5bn. It follows RLAM’s acquisition of both Co-operative Asset Management and the Co-operative Insurance Society in July 2013.

RLAM’s employee roster has also received a boost alongside the transfer, with the addition of two senior asset managers and a property administrator to the existing team.

Daniel Shepherd joins the office and industrial portfolio while Yasin Sadiq bolsters the company’s retail property range. Anita Maslin also arrives in a property administration role.

The recruitments follow the recent hires of Rachel Holt and Mark Carroll in senior asset manager and development manager roles respectively, and completes the expansion of the property team for the time being.
