Rathbones builds out Winchester team with six hires

Four investment directors and two managers

Rathbones Investment Management has added six new hires to its Winchester hub as it looks to build its presence in the region.

Investment directors Jamie Cox, Nick Russell, Will Haines and Will Sawyer join the office alongside investment managers Alex Young and Jay Lawrence.

With a combined 50 years of industry experience, the team’s responsibilities and expertise include designing and managing bespoke investment portfolios, evolving long-term wealth strategies for clients and working closely with advisers.

Part of the wider Rathbones Group, Rathbones IM has 14 regional hubs across the UK and Jersey.

Ian Hardcastle, investment director at Rathbones Winchester, said: “I am delighted to welcome the team to Rathbones. These individuals bring with them a huge wealth of knowledge and experience, and we look forward to each of them helping to drive our position further in the south and in London, particularly in further developing our offering to financial advisers.”

Will Kendall, head of south at Rathbones, said: “Rathbones has experienced significant growth in Winchester and across the south in recent years. The addition of this impressive team reinforces our commitment to forging strong relationships and delivering exceptional service to our clients and their advisers, and we look forward to working together to continue enhancing Rathbones’ proposition.”
