Rathbones Unit Trust Management promoted Alexandra Jackson, assistant manager of the Global Opportunities Fund, to work alongside chief investment officer Julian Chillingworth who continues to oversee the fund.
Additionally, Jo Rands joins as a new hire to take on a co-manager role with Jackson. Prior to joining, Rands covered UK small and mid-cap stocks at Peel Hunt.
Meanwhile Sammy Dow will replace Jackson on the Global Opportunities Fund as assistant manager and reports to lead manager James Thomson. He was executive director of pan European equity sales at JP Morgan Cazenov and takes on his new role in July.
“Marina’s forensic investment skills and small cap expertise have been a great credit to Rathbones for almost 15 years, and we wish her a speedy recovery and return to Rathbones,” chief executive Mike Webb said.
