Quilter Cheviot has hired Oswald Oduntan (pictured) as an investment manager within its managed portfolio service (MPS) team.

In the role, he will assist in the running of the firm’s building blocks range, while also contributing to the construction of other MPS strategies.

He joins from LGM Investments, part of Columbia Threadneedle, where he was a fund manager assistant.

Oduntan is the latest addition to the discretionary fund manager’s MPS team following the hire of Darragh Moore as a trainee investment manager at the end of 2022, while Harriet Meade was appointed as an investment administrator in February.

Antony Webb, Quilter Cheviot deputy head of MPS, said: “We are constantly looking for new and fresh ways to enhance the value we give to advisers and their clients. Bringing Oswald on board helps to bolster our capabilities in this regard and we are excited to see what he brings to the table.”

Oduntan added: “I am pleased to be joining Quilter Cheviot, a key pioneer in creating the model portfolio structure that has become integral to the way advisers operate today.

“I’m looking forward to working closely with advisers and helping guide their clients in what can only be described as an uncertain time in the global economy.”
