Quilter Cheviot has bolstered its investment team with the hire of three investment managers.

Andrew Hannay, Rhea Wright and James Rennie join the £24.9bn FUM discretionary fund manager and will be based in offices around the UK and Channel Islands.

Chief executive Andrew McGlone said: “We are pleased to bring a further three experienced investment managers to Quilter Cheviot and boost our presence across the UK and Channel Islands. The economic climate is driving demand for tailored investment portfolios and a personal service, and we want to make sure we are there for both current and prospective clients at what is such a challenging time for investors.”

“Andrew, Rhea and James will also work closely with intermediaries including financial advisers whether that be via Quilter Private Client Advisers or from the open market.”

Hannay brings over 20 years’ experience in wealth management to Quilter Cheviot’s Edinburgh office, having previously held roles at Cornelian Asset Managers and Speirs & Jeffrey.

Wright will be based in Jersey, having joined from JTC Employer Solutions. She previously spent nine years at RBC Wealth Management.

Having originally joined Quilter Cheviot in 2016 as a trainee investment manager, Rennie re-joins the firm following a stint at Rathbone Greenbank Investments. He will be based in Birmingham.
