Polar Capital has promoted Richard Oates to head of UK sales.
Oates steps up from his role as head of UK institutional and will now oversee the firm’s overall distribution strategy in the UK.
He has been a part of Polar Capital for 17 years, working across the boutique’s sales and marketing teams.
Ryan Cosson has joined the firm from T Rowe Price as a regional sales manager, responsible for wholesale clients in the south of England and Ireland. He spent three years at T Rowe Price following stints at Time Investments, Metlife, and St James’s Place.
