PIMCO has expanded its ETF range with the launch of an ETF share class for its PIMCO GIS StocksPLUS fund, which combines exposure to US large-cap equities with active fixed-income strategies.

Listed under the ticker SPLU (PIMCO Advantage StocksPLUS US Large Cap UCITS ETF), it was first established in 1986 to outperform the S&P 500 (net of dividends). It aims to address the “persistent challenge of active equity underperformance” and deliver fixed income alpha.

The ETF will be listed on the London, Italian, Swiss and German stock exchanges on 24 July 2026.

Tina Adatia, executive vice president and head of product strategy for EMEA and APAC, said: “By introducing an ETF share class of an established strategy, we are combining four decades of StocksPLUS expertise with an innovative vehicle designed to meet the needs of a broad range of investors.

“This structure enables us to offer one of PIMCO’s flagship equity solutions in a UCITS ETF format, providing clients with greater choice in how they access our investment capabilities,” she added.
