The asset manager said in a regulatory statement that Parry will leave his position on 5 May 2013. He will also stand down as a director of the firm at the same time.
Michael Dobson, chief executive of Schroders, said: "I would like to thank Kevin for his significant contribution to Schroders over the last ten years, as a non-executive director and chairman of the audit committee and, since 2009, as chief financial officer.”
Richard Keers, currently a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), was named by Schroders’ board as Parry’s successor.
Keers, who was PwC’s relationship partner with Schroders from 2006 to 2010, will join the asset manager’s board and its group management committee upon appointment.
He will hold responsibility for finance, risk, human resources, internal audit and corporate communications.
Parry commented "I have greatly enjoyed my time at Schroders and participating in its development. I am pleased to be able to hand over to Richard Keers following the completion of the 2012 annual report and accounts in May next year."
