Newton Investment Management has appointed Andy Warwick and Aron Pataki (pictured) as co-heads of its £11.9bn real return strategy.
Warwick arrived at Newton in 2018 from Blackrock, where he worked as a portfolio manager on the multi-asset team.
Pataki has spent most of his 20 years in industry at Newton having joined in 2006. He joined from the Lacima Group, where he was a quantitative analyst.
The firm said that there will be no changes to the strategy’s approach and investment process, with Warwick and Pataki being supported by the eight-strong real returns team.
The appointments follow the passing of Suzanne Hutchins in December, who was team leader of the strategy and global portfolio manager.
