Morningstar director of manager research Matias Möttölä (pictured) has exited the firm after 14 years.
In a LinkedIn post, Möttölä announced he was taking up a role at the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority as a senior supervisor in the regulator’s capital markets department.
He joined Morningstar in 2010 as a fund analyst based in Finland.
Möttölä has held his current role as director of manager research, which includes being at the helm of the firm’s manager research thought leadership pipeline outside of the US, since April 2022.
