LGT Wealth Management has appointed Lewis Gregory (pictured) as a portfolio manager on its model portfolio service (MPS) range.

He joins after three years at Mercer Private Wealth where he was a multi-asset investment manager, having started out as a junior investment manager at Quilter Cheviot.

The hire marks the second manager brought into the LGT MPS range in recent months, after Adam Burniston joined from Atomos in January. Gregory’s appointment also follows LGT portfolio manager James Giblin moving to Legal & General Investment Management to manage a range of retail multi-asset funds, as well as several client portfolios in its MPS.

Gregory said: “Joining LGT Wealth Management is a unique opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking wealth management firm with a strong reputation in the industry. I look forward to working with the team to further enhance our partnership with financial advisers.”

Phoebe Stone, head of intermediary investment services, commented: “With an increasing demand for our proposition from financial advisers, Lewis’s appointment brings experience and technical expertise which further strengthens our offering. We are delighted to welcome him as we continue to provide a tailored partnership approach for advisers.”
