LGT Wealth Management has appointed Adam Burniston (pictured) as lead portfolio manager for the firm’s model portfolio services (MPS).
He joins from Atomos where he co-managed a range of MPS propositions and headed the firm’s investment risk committee during an eight-year spell.
At LGT, Burniston will manage five model portfolios alongside an income strategy available to UK advisers.
The wealth manager’s MPS range was first launched in 2009.
Phoebe Stone, LGT head of intermediary investment services, said: “Adam is an important hire to support our steep growth trajectory and we are very pleased he is bringing his wealth of experience to further enhance our MPS proposition.
“We will continue adding to the team this year to match the strength of demand from advisers for our personalised service. Our commitment to strong personal relationships and true partnership is driving interest from advisers who want to enjoy long-term success along with their clients.”
