This is the tenth in the company’s FTSE Growth Plan series, with FTSE Growth Plan 10 offering returns dependent on the FTSE 100 at the end of a five-year term. Investors will receive a 45% return if the index is at least equal to its level on the investment start date and held to maturity on 14 July, 2016.
The offer period opened on 3 May and will close on 24 June; the initial index level will be as at 14 July, 2011.
If the final index level at maturity has fallen by less than 50%, investors will get their original investment back but without any bonus payment.
If the final index level at maturity has fallen by 50% or more, investors will lose 1% of their money for each 1% the FTSE 1000 index is lower than at its starting level.
The returns are net of fees with Legal & General confirming that charges will not exceed 4.4% of the initial investment.
