Jacob Vijverberg and Robert-Jan der Mark, who are both part of the multi-asset team of Kames’ Dutch sister company Aegon Asset Management (AAM) Netherlands, have seen both of their roles formalised, having both previously played assisting positions.
Vijverberg has become co-manager on the UK domiciled Kames Diversified Monthly Income and Dublin domiciled Global Diversified Income funds, working alongside current manager Vincent McEntegart.
Working alongside Colin Dryburgh, Der Mark is now co-manager on the UK domiciled Kames Diversified Growth and Dublin domiciled Global Diversified Growth funds.
Kames chief investment officer Stephen Jones said: “The formalisation of their roles as co-managers marks a new point for greater co-operation and collaboration between the two teams and will allow us to optimise and strengthen our capabilities in this very competitive sector of the market.
“It means we now have a 17-strong resource between the two teams (eight in the UK, nine in the Netherlands) which provides us with even greater strength in-depth across the multi-asset sector.”
