JM Finn has named Jacob Parsons as a wealth planner at the firm’s York office.
Parsons (pictured) will continue the ongoing expansion the firm’s regional offering, with a focus on helping clients navigate and simplify financial challenges. He will report to Anna Murdock, head of wealth planning at the firm.
Murdock said: “Jacob’s experience is exactly what we needed to help us support the team in York.
“Demand from clients for financial planning advice has continued to grow, so having a wealth planner based in the York office was the logical next step.”
Lucy Coutts, investment director and head of JM Finn’s York branch, added: “Putting advice at the heart of our proposition is key to delivering an enhanced client experience and we’re delighted that Jacob has chosen us for the next chapter of his career.”
Parsons who served 12 years as an officer in the Royal Marines, has worked for several financial planning organisations across Yorkshire. He qualified as a chartered financial planner in 2025.
