Wealth management firm Hurst Point Group has brought its two divisions under a single executive management structure.

Under the restructure, financial planning and advice business Argentis and investment manager Hawksmoor will be managed by the same executive team.

The firm said the move reflects growing collaboration between the two divisions. Previously, the two arms had different executive teams, with Hurst Point acting as a corporate head office overseeing the two businesses.

Overseen by CEO Andrew Westenberger (pictured), who stepped up from CFO in February, the executive team will be made up of:

  • Michael Bishop – managing director, investment management
  • Samantha Chanell – chief human resources officer
  • Alex Knott – chief technology & transformation officer
  • Edward Renwick – general counsel
  • Paul White – head of financial advice

Meanwhile, the firm has also appointed Harry Bhavnani to succeed Westenberger as chief financial officer. Bhavnani will also sit on the executive management team, subject to regulatory approval.

Westenberger said: “We believe a more focused management structure, with a single executive team responsible for the whole business, will better support the group in delivering planned investment initiatives and the continuing development of the products and services we deliver to clients.”
