Hince joins M&G as technical development director, having previously worked at both Invesco Perpetual and Gartmore prior to iShares, where he was director of UK intermediaries and third parties.
Reporting to Amanda Lennon, head of investment marketing at M&G, Hince will develop a programme of “impartial and generic investment training for external IFA clients”, M&G says.
“Creating the educational programme for IFA clients is an important step forward for M&G as many of our clients have been asking us to provide additional support in the shape of generic investment training,” said Andrew Watson, director of UK advisory and partnerships at M&G.
“Of course, RDR has clearly been a catalyst in this demand as more and more IFAs look to ensure they’re fully prepared for the changes that lay ahead.”
