Back dated to 1 October, the £152m investment trust ‘s base management fee will drop from 0.75% to 0.65% of net assets, while the performance fee will remain unchanged other than a reduction in its one year cap from 1.75% to 1.30% of net assets.
The move comes as a string of investment trusts have cut their charges in the aftermath of the RDR.
The board of Henderson European Focus Trust said that it agreed the change as part of its annual review of the fund’s management, adding that it believed “it was in the best interests of shareholders to have a competitive base and performance fee”.
