New additions to the list include Life Cycle Global Select – chosen for its “high conviction portfolio of global companies at different stages of their corporate life cycles” – and Neuberger Global Equity Megatrends, “a concentrated portfolio of shares in 20-30 companies the managers believe will benefit from long-term, global trends.”

Heptagon Driehaus US SMID Cap Equity fund has also been selected, based on its strategy of identifying “businesses where it believes the market is underestimating the potential for future earnings growth.”

A further 15 funds lost their spot on the list in the latest rebalance. Three of these were index funds from Fidelity, while Liontrust, Vanguard and Premier Miton each saw two of their funds ousted. Other funds not to have made the grade include GuardCap Global Equity, Impax Environmental Markets and Invesco Tactical Bond.
