Fidelity has appointed Julie-Ann Ashcroft (pictured) as a multi-asset portfolio manager.
Based in London, she will focus on Fidelity’s sustainability framework following the launch of its sustainable multi-asset fund range last year.
Ashcroft joins from Abrdn, where she was most recently head of sustainability and investments. In this role, she oversaw the buildout of the firm’s sustainability framework in addition to managing a multi-asset investment team.
Having arrived at Abrdn in 2013, she also previously spent over six years as an investment manager at Newton Investment Management from 2007. She is the second Newton alum to land at Fidelity in the space of two months, after Ilga Haubelt took on the newly created role of head of equities for Europe in September.
Henk-Jan Rikkerink, global head of solutions and multi asset at Fidelity International, said: “We are thrilled to have Julie-Ann join the firm. Julie-Ann brings further experience and investment insight to the solutions & multi asset team, increasing our ability to serve clients in sustainability-focused strategies.”
