De Lisle Partners has hired Phil Coombes (pictured) as an investment analyst.
He joins having spent five years as an equity analyst at HC Andersen, where he worked across a range of companies.
The firm has also promoted existing team member Dan Scott Lintott to assistant fund manager.
A spokesperson from the firm said the promotion recognises his significant role in supporting chief investment officer and lead manager Richard de Lisle in running the VT De Lisle America Fund.
Lintott assists with the day-to-day management of the fund, company research, monitoring of portfolio holdings and investment recommendations. He also executes approved equity trades, subject to CIO approval and sign-off.
De Lisle said: “Dan’s promotion to assistant fund manager is thoroughly deserved and reflects the contribution he already makes to the investment process and day-to-day running of the De Lisle America fund.
“With Phil joining us as investment analyst, these significant appointments will enhance our rigorous investment research and processes.”
