Close Brothers Asset Management (CBAM) has completed a further hire from Investec Wealth and Investment with the appointment of Francesca Bartholdi as an investment manager.
She joins after spending nine years at Investec W&I, and will be based in the firm’s London Mayfair office.
Bartholdi is also a member of The Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments.

Bartholdi’s appointment is the latest in a series of CBAM hires from Investec W&I, after Annabel Barrow was announced as senior investment manager in January.
The hire also follows Matt Green and Jonathan Follows‘ move to the firm’s London office as senior investment director and senior investment manager at the start of the year, while Peter Horton and Chris Hutchinson were hired in the latter half of 2023.
