Canaccord Wealth has agreed to acquire the client assets and front office team of fellow UK wealth management business EFG Harris Allday.
Currently operating as a division of EFG Private Bank, Harris Allday primarily serves affluent clients in the Midlands, with roughly £3.1bn in client assets. As part of the merger, advisers will benefit from the Canaccord team’s expanded infrastructure, while clients will gain access to a broader range of investment advice.
The acquisition is expected to occur in the second half of 2026, subject to standard closing conditions.
David Esfandi (pictured), chief executive officer of Canaccord Wealth UK, said: “This acquisition is a strong strategic fit, adding to our established teams and capabilities while also expanding our footprint across the Midlands with the addition of a new office in Shrewsbury.
“By combining EFG Harris Allday’s strong client relationships and investment expertise with our financial planning advice, we can offer clients a truly integrated wealth management experience.”
