Brown Advisory has hired an ESG analyst for the team of ex-Janus Henderson fixed income managers who joined the firm earlier this year.
Anna Rudgard (pictured) joins from investment consultant Aon where she was a senior consultant and lead researcher for fixed income ESG strategies.
At Brown Advisory she will work closely with ESG analysts and the global sustainable fixed income team that joined the firm in March, comprising former Janus Henderson managers Ryan Myerberg, Chris Diaz and Colby Stilson.
Rudgard will carry out ESG research and examine the intended use of bonds’ proceeds with fundamental fixed income research.
Brown Advisory head of international business and global head of sales Logie Fitzwilliams said: “Anna brings a wealth of experience in fixed income ESG research and will add further depth to Brown Advisory’s existing ESG expertise, as we continue to develop our new global sustainable fixed income proposition and build on the success of our existing offering in the US.”
The team is due to launch its first strategy later this year which will be managed by Myerberg in London and Diaz and Stilson in the US.
