Advisers will still be able to access technical consultants and specialist pensions and tax teams, through both business partnership managers or specialist product or platform support teams.
A spokesperson said the other person working on the helpline has been redeployed in an administration role, and the advice line closure was the only key change following the review.
The group announced seven redundancies in May as it scaled back its UK-based international sales team.
