Aviva Investors head of equities Alistair Way (pictured) has left the firm after five and-a-half years.

Isabel Emo Capodilista has been named interim head of equities, an Aviva spokesperson confirmed.

They said: “Isabel has been with Aviva Investors for 12 years and been a member of the equities leadership team for two years. She has a deep knowledge of our business and equity investment strategies and has strong relationships with the team.”

“She replaces Alastair Way, who is leaving Aviva Investors after five years to pursue other opportunities with our best wishes.”

Way joined Aviva in 2018 as head of emerging market equities, before being appointed head of equities in June 2021.

He previously spent over a decade at Standard Life Investments, where he was head of global emerging markets equities.
