Aviva Investors has appointed Kunal Kothari as a co-portfolio manager within its UK equity team.
Based in London, Kothari will also hold sector analyst responsibilities.
He joins from Columbia Threadneedle, where he was an equity analyst and deputy fund manager on the firm’s UK Alpha strategy.
He has also held analyst roles at Merian Global Investors, Schroders and Santander.
Trevor Green, head of UK equities, Aviva Investors, said: “[Kothari] has a strong track record of covering companies throughout the market cap spectrum and across industries, as well as portfolio management expertise, so will be an excellent addition to our franchise.”
