Atomos has appointed Jon Taylor as chair, taking over from Alison Endemano.

Taylor previously sat on the wealth manager’s board as a non-executive director. Endemano had been chair since Oaktree Capital Management invested in Atomos in May 2022.

Taylor has held several senior management roles within financial services including being CEO of both Ascentric and Co-operative Insurance. He has also provided advisory services to firms including PwC and Accenture, and holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of London.

CEO Jonathan Polin commented: “We are thrilled that Jon will chair our Board. Jon combines his experience of running businesses with extensive experience in change management and digital transformation; as such he is well positioned to help steer and improve our business in all aspect of its performance.”

“I would also like to say a very big thank you to Alison for all her work and support over the last year. Chairing the Board of a newly acquired business such of ours is a difficult and multifaceted job, and Alison was quick to get to grips with the challenges we faced as we have set about transforming the business.”

Taylor added: “I am very pleased to chair Atomos at this crucial stage of the business’ development. The team has already achieved a huge amount in less than a year.”

Originating from the Sanlam Wealth UK business, Atomos is owned by funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management. The firm manages circa £7 billion for approximately 8,000 clients.
