Financial services consultancy Alpha FMC has hired Mark Wightman as senior partner within its asset and wealth management consulting division.
Wightman joins from State Street, where he spent nine months as executive vice president and head of strategic transformation. Prior to this, he worked at EY for 11 years, latterly as a partner within its wealth and asset management transformation team. He has also held roles at SunGard as head of alternatives, and at SuperDerivatives as vice president, Asia Pacific, over a career spanning 30 years.

In his new role, Wightman will focus on continuing to grow Alpha FMC’s international asset and wealth management consulting business, as well as to strengthen the firm’s global client relationships. He will be focusing in particular on the UK, Middle East and Asia Pacific.
