AllianceBernstein has launched two active equity exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the European market.

The introduction of the AB Global Research Advanced UCITS ETF and AB Global Disruptors UCITS ETF follows the roll-out of its European active ETF platform last month.

The Global Research Advanced UCITS ETF uses a combination of fundamental research, quantitative research and proprietary tools to build a diversified equites portfolio that outperforms the market, while managing active risk.

The Global Disruptors UCITS ETF targets companies that offer superior long-term growth through being ‘disruptive innovation leaders’.

The ETFs are listed on Börse Xetra, with additional listings on the London Stock Exchange, Borsa Italiana and SIX Swiss Exchange scheduled to take place throughout June.

Julie Gunts, head of ETF strategy and partnerships at AllianceBernstein, said: “Equities are an area where active management remains highly relevant, especially in an environment shaped by structural change and uneven growth.

“With Global Research Advanced and Global Disruptors, we’re offering investors two distinct ways to access global equities; one focused on consistent, risk‑aware alpha and the other on capturing long‑term disruptive trends.”
