Katie Trowsdale, as did Hambi, worked at Gartmore – between 2007 and 2011 – joining as a fund analyst having worked in the fund of funds team at Kleinwort Benson Private Bank from 2004, leaving there as deputy fund of funds manager.
She started her investment career in 1999 as an offshore dealer with Fidelity Investments.
Trowsdale is joined at Standard Life Investments by Jason Day who has left Allenbridge Group where he had been a fund manager and/or an analyst since 2001. He also has experience working as an analyst with Deloitte & Touche Private Clients and Bolt-Burdon Solicitors Private & Fund Clients.
The third in the group is Matthew Weber, previously a fund manager with Co-operative Asset Management having also worked with Mazars Financial Planning, Old Broad Street Research and Daniels Holt Stockbrokers.
Bambos Hambi runs the MyFolio range of 15 propositions split into three sections: the passive, low-cost MyFolio Market Funds range, investing mainly in tracker funds; the fettered MyFolio Funds range, investing principally in SLI funds; and the MyFolio Multi-Manager Funds range. The funds are split across five risk levels.
