The firm intends to launch a European equities fund before the year end as part of its plan to broaden its offering and to grow its assets under management. The launch is subject to the appropriate FCA approvals.
Brown, who will be working alongside Carlos Moreno at the AIM-listed asset management group, has 16 years investment experience. He worked with Moreno at Thames River Capital previously as an analyst and assistant fund manager on the pan-European equities team.
Before joining Miton Brown worked at Mitsubishi UFJ Asset Management where he co-managed the European Value & Momentum fund from April 2014 to November 2015. Prior to that he was an analyst at Scoggin Capital UK and before that an investment director at JMH Capital Management, a family office.
