He has left the company with immediate effect and leaves the five funds he was manager of in the hands of his co-manager Steve Waddington and his team of six multi-asset managers.

The two managed Insight Investment’s Diversified Target Return (£131m in assets under management), Diversified Dynamic Return (£60m), Diversified High Income (£21m), Wealth Builder Balanced (£93m) and UK Dynamic Managed (£35m) funds.

Pinggera joined Insight in 7 January 2009 to oversee Insight’s multi-asset fund range. He was previously with Credit Suisse where he was head of multi-asset class solutions, managing a team of 14 and a multi-billion pound business.

Matthew Merritt, head of Insight’s multi-asset strategy, said: “Insight has experienced significant growth in its multi-asset business. Mike made a meaningful contribution to our business over the last three years and we wish him well in his future endeavours.”
