Ladure will be based in London and is promoted from RBS Coutts in Switzerland, where he was head of investment strategy for the past two years.
In his new role Ladure will use behavioural finance and decision theory to further develop Coutts’ client proposition.
Coutts said his appointment was part of its strategy to provide bespoke wealth management solutions by drawing on the technical insight of its investment services team.
Earlier this month Coutts poached Mary Haly from Kleinwort Benson Private Bank to become a senior investment director in the tailored portfolio services team.
Prior to working for Coutts, Ladure was an investment strategist for Barclays Wealth and before that held a number of roles at BNP Paribas Asset Management.
