Up until his departure, he was an investment strategist in the Fidelity Solutions team. In this role he contributed investment views and ideas to the team and was co-portfolio manager on the portfolios listed below.
During January, his responsibilities were reassigned to other members of the team. The lead project managers on the portfolios managed by the team have not changed.
The company said that it did not expect Skelt’s departure to have an impact on the management of its clients’ portfolios.
“As the team operates a clearly defined and centralised investment process, we do not expect any impact on the funds; there will be no change in style or approach, and no restructuring or disruption to the portfolios,” the spokesperson said.
