Dani Saurymper will join the firm’s healthcare team on 27 April, and is due to take over the Axa Framlington Health and Axa WF Framlington Health funds pending FCA approval.
His predecessor, Gemma Game, left Axa IM in July, with Mark Hargraves assuming temporary charge in the interim period will retaining his duties as manager of Axa’s European and Global Opportunities vehicles.
Saurymper brings 14 years’ healthcare sector experience, arriving from a European healthcare equity research analyst berth with Barlays Capital, prior to which he held positions at Nomura and Goldman Sachs.
