Isciukas joins the firm from HSBC where he was a global high yield analyst. He will work alongside Stefan Issacs and James Tomlins on high yield portfolios, and Ben Lord on investment grade funds.
Issacs manages the £91.4m M&G European Corporate High Yield Bond Fund and the £2.1bn European Corporate Bond Fund. The performance of the two funds over six months is shown in the graph.

Lord, meanwhile, heads up a number of funds including the M&G Short Dated Corporate Bond. It has around £358.9m under management.
Historically the fund has been floating rate notes-heavy, but latterly there has been more of a balance between these holdings and fixed income deposits.
M&G’s funds under management hit a record £228bn in 2012, despite slowing sales in its core UK market.
