The retail platform recognised inflows into what it sees as established and trusted managers with proven track records though a variety of economic and market conditions, with Terry Smith’s Fundsmith Equity the third-best seller in the month.

In fourth was the resurgent Jupiter India, run by Avinash Vazirani, while Hideo Shiozumi’s Legg Mason Japan Equity completed the top five.

“With US economic data generally continuing to be positive of late, it is not a shock to see investors continuing to put faith in to a US focused opportunity such as the Schroder US Mid-Cap fund,” said head of investments Andy Parsons of the sixth-best seller.

“In seventh and eighth places we find the Rathbone Global Opportunities fund and the AXA Framlington Global Technology fund, respectively.

“A concentrated portfolio, the Rathbone Global Opportunities fund provides investors with an opportunity to benefit from an approach that seeks out of favour growth companies.

“Whilst in a world constantly evolving, technology is continually extending into and impacting all aspects of our daily lives.

“From cars to healthcare, communication to banking, and manufacturing, the AXA Framlington Global Technology fund provides investors with an opportunity to benefit from this ever-changing landscape.”
