Tom Sayers, a former head of Beaufort Securities’ Bristol team, joined Whitechurch on Tuesday as a senior investment manager

He has 11 years’ experience in managing portfolios and will help expand the Bristol-based firm’s personally tailored service offering discretionary fund management to high net-worth clients.

“I am excited to get the opportunity to help Whitechurch build on the strong growth in assets under management they have been experiencing and looking forward to becoming a key member of the award winning Whitechurch investment team,” Sayers said.

Gavin Haynes (pictured), Whitechurch managing director, said the firm’s ability to provide day to day attention to bespoke client portfolios was close to capacity.

“Tom will work within the Whitechurch Investment Team, ensuring that clients continue to receive the consistency of the Whitechurch investment approach whilst having a dedicated investment manager to ensure a high quality of service,” he added.
